Privacy Policy

VirtualiToy, Inc (“VirtualiToy”) greatly respects the privacy of our users and is committed to protecting any information collected via its apps and websites, including but not limited to VirtualiToy’s ‘Nail Star’ and the ‘virtualitoy.com’ website. VirtualiToy has adopted this Privacy Policy to explain how VirtualiToy collects, stores, and uses the data collected in Nail Star in connection with Nail Star services. By creating an account on ‘Nail Star,’ you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The majority of our apps may be played by users without any data collection at all. We do not collect user information for any purposes nor do we do any user tracking. In addition, this website uses no cookies to store user data.The exception to this is the social version of our manicure app, Nail Star, which only suggests a voluntary email for the purposes of account retrieval (see below).

Nail Star Privacy Policy

Nail Star may be played by users without any data collection at all, if they so choose. Users who choose not to register have access to most areas of gameplay, including saving their images to their own local “manicure album.” However, they are unable to participate in the “social” gameplay aspects of the app, including leaderboards.

To register and “compete” on the leaderboards, to best protect our users, a minimum amount of data is collected. We require only a fictitious “nickname,” and an email and password. The collection of email and password is primarily based on the purpose of account retrieval and created “artwork” retrieval for the user, including multiple users or siblings on the same device. For further privacy, email is encoded (scrambled via algorithms) on our servers, and the employees of VirtualiToy, Inc. have no direct access to these emails. Users are encouraged to create fictitious ‘nicknames’ for the leaderboards.

Artwork created within Nail Star for the purpose of creating a custom “manicure” is limited to graphics already within the app. These graphics may be manipulated by the user to create their own artwork. Manipulation includes choosing from a limited selection of graphics and nail polish colors, and rearranging them within the app to create a “custom manicure.” Users are unable to upload their own photos, graphics, or other visibly identifiable information to be shared socially.

If a user creates an account, he/she is able to choose from a finite amount of “cartoon” avatars to represent himself/herself on the leaderboards. Again, no user photos or other identifiable graphics may be uploaded for the purpose of user representation for the social aspects of Nail Star, including the leaderboards.

Users who choose not to register have access to most areas of gameplay, including saving their images to their own local “manicure album.”

This Privacy Policy is subject to change and should be reviewed periodically by the user, and specifically after any app updates.

Terms and Conditions

By using ‘Nail Star’ and our other apps, you are agreeing to comply with, and be bound by, the following Terms and Conditions.

The terms ‘us’ or ‘we’ refer to VirtualiToy, Inc (“VirtualiToy”). The term ‘you’ refers to the user of the app.

The content of our apps are for entertainment purposes and use only.

We do not provide any warrantee or guarantee as to to performance or suitability of the information, artwork, and gameplay found or offered on this app for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information, artwork, or other materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

All content and artwork in ‘Nail Star’ is the property or VirtualiToy, Inc. All content is copyright protected, including appropriate trademarks, layout, graphics, code, behavior, looks, and appearance, and may not be duplicated or reused for any commercial or monetary use whatsoever. Unauthorized use or copyright infringement of any graphics, logos, code, or gameplay behavior may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

We allow and encourage social sharing and posting of user created images by users over the age of 13 in appropriate context. Users under the age of 13 may not post to social sites.

The leaderboards on ‘Nail Star’ are for entertainment purposes only. Rankings of user submitted images are both algorithm and judge/staff chosen. VirtualiToy has final decision of all rankings. Users that attempt to manipulate the leaderboards in any way, or intentionally duplicate other users designs, will be considered for image disqualification and/or account removal. This also applies to anything we feel is inappropriate in any way at our discretion.

We are not liable for any damages in occurrence with the use of our apps, website, or ‘Nail Star’ gameplay or leaderboards.

The Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of all apps are subject to change without notice.

By submitting manicure images to the public Nail Star leaderboards, you agree that featured images may be used outside of the app for promotional purposes, and on the virtualiToy.com website. These images only contain only the artwork originating within the Nail Star app itself. Unidentifiable user 'nicknames' may accompany these in the 'Featured' section. We strongly respect the privacy of all users.
